My Knight in Shining Armor

My knight in shining armor,

Please come and set me free.

I'm locked inside this darkened soul

Just waiting to be freed.

 

Break the chains that bind me.

Warm up my frozen heart.

Revive this breathless life i live;

That i may be a part.

 

Wipe the tears with one sweet brush,

kiss the pain away.

Make your arms my home sweet home;

And hold me if you may.

 

Walk with me hand in hand,

Catch me when i fall.

I need your shoulder when i cry.

Please, tear down this stone hard wall.

 

I do not need material things

That only last a day.

What i need is profound love

To keep the dark away.

 

Can you show me adoration,

And always have my  back.

Be the other half of me;

The things that i may lack

 

Do you have a tender soul?

Can you give more than you take?

Watch the angry things you say;

For this would be my sake.

 

I'm not asking for perfection.

Just for someone who is true.

I will make the promise now;

That ill be loving you.

 

I promise ill be faithful,

For you'll be the only one.

I'll love you unconditionally,

Because my heart you will have won.
