Do you remember

Do you remember that moment? 

The moment that you first really knew

     you loved her

Was it the first time 

that she spilled her heart out to you,

soul open and naked-

Or when you first realized you could

     lose her?

Maybe it was somewhere in-between

all the smiles and the laughs;

Possibly within the simplicity of

exchanging glances.

But there were hard moments in there too;

Those vulnerable glimpses of anxiety

     screaming.

Did you love her then?

-that real and imperfect person she let you see.

Did you fall for her

     suddenly

Or was it steady and slow?

     Do you remember?
