I RememberA Poem by Amy Turton
I remember your face, it's etched in my brain.
So much time has gone by, but the pain still remains. I remember clearly when I heard you'd gone, that feeling of helplessness that continued so long. I still long to hold you, though I know it can't be, and I long for the day that you're back with me. I know you were hurting, and that's why you had to go, but I just wanted to tell you that I miss you so. © 2014 Amy Turton |
