Tears on a Piece of Paper

Never mind my tears they will be there for a while
Until you know what gift you are for me
Until the world appreciates your smile
Never mind my little dreams
They seem impossible beside yours
I have them only because they told me
We have to dream and set goals
Don't tell me I'm mistaken
Don't tell me everything I love was taken
I read your eyes before you turn them away
I read the fear burried inside them
But I assure you it's not there to stay
This is life, the kinder your heart is the more you suffer
But this shouldn't break you
It should make you tougher.

Spring is on a wing in flight
in abstract colors throwing light
