let go and hold on

it's time,time to let go

let go of my dark past

let go of the pain

let go of the knife

let go of the old me

and start,start holding on

holding on to who i want to be

holding on to my heart

holding on to what makes me me

holding on to now

most of all holding on to what i have left.

i give myself hope everyday

even when it goes away

i still try to have something good to hold on to and let go of whats not important to me im ready,ready to be set free.

I love the encouraging message in this poem. The second to the last line is a bit long for the structure of this, but all in all I enjoyed it and took it to heart.
