I've burned all the bridges

Closed every door

Blocked each path

That could take me to you

 

I’ve ruined every possibility

Of seeing us together again

You probably imagine me

Being with other men

 

Yet I miss you more each day

This is a very complex piece, full of emotions and pain!
It's just like ad if you are intentionally trying not to dream about him, but it's just like you've no control over your heart which is somehow forcing you to dream about him even a complete year!
I felt very close with this write, but (un)fortunately...Life is very different and now has been drastically changed for me..and I just wish the same for you! :)

I ending quote is really so beautiful and I think so it's of St. Augustine ( as far as I remember, as I'm quite good in quotes I think so! lolz..)

But, it's such a beautiful write! Amazing!! :)

I can relate to this very much. You have captured the feeling well - the longing for what you once had, that you have damaged beyond repair, but can never let go of the dream.

The love we have in our hearts is not one that can be burned, closed or blocked. There is always another bridge, a window, or a path, that will take us back to their lovely charms.
