Finding my song

Finding my song

A Poem by Imperfection
"

Without the stones, the brook would have lost its song

"

Around the pebbles,

Between the plants, I twist and

Turn, to find my song.

Lovely Haiku. I'm so glad you entered this in the contest, otherwise I might not have stumbled upon it. A very pretty haiku, paints a nice picture in one's mind. I must say that the picture helps. :)
Just one thought - don't haikus have to contain at least one word in reference to any one of the four seasons? As far as I can remember, that is what my teacher taught me in high school and I've come across the concept a few times.
Once again, great haiku. Unfortunately, the contest doesn't end today - or we'd have a clear winner!!

This is just beautiful, Caffiene. I think finding our song takes some twisting and turning, and some going through valleys and climbing mountains, but eventually we do find it. I love the picture you chose for this Haiku. Well done, girl! :-) Carole

You know, you really made me stop and ponder this thought, without the stones the brooks would not sing melodious songs. Wonderful entry. The Contest ends June 15th. I will then announce the winners. Thank you for entering.

this piece is metaphorical. And the words have been chosen so well in this peice, like,
"pebbles", "plants", "twist", "turn", and "song".
you made the excellent choice in words! Thanks.
