Castigation

Castigation

A Poem by Imperfection
"

Sometimes, there are no answers...

"

Can I ever find peace in this chaos

Again; yet again I have hurt myself

Society’s hypocrisies confuse me further

The same cluelessness persists and

I am a misfit in the silent confusion

Going around in circles that have no end

Almost always I run into an obstacle

Turning back, re-routing to find another way

I feel lost in this maze of life

Often asking myself what went wrong but I find

No answers, only more questions

The trick is sometimes to never turn back to where the confusion started...sometimes. Depends on whether that place already has a confusion answered. Begin from the place that came after...and let each one stay a place never gone back to again if it was not where you liked the first time. The road ahead is cleaner most times and more sure from the things you have managed to learn. You show your confusion well...how it seems you are running in circles that lead to nothing but the same as you already have felt. But maybe some things don't need an answer for you to go forward anyway; walk away from them and closer to a happier path. You did this nicely. Take care!

This is really a great Acrostic, I really didn't really that it was an acrostic when I first read it and later from a review I found that it was actually an Acrostic, since the flow is just so good that it doesn't reads like an Acrostic.
Simply flawless, your emotions are flowing out of it effortlessly.
And I guess most of us can relate ourselves with the confusion and half sense of confession in it.
Great work!

Wow, I can so relate to this piece. I feel like my life is one big flurry of mistakes and agony. It is hard not to feel lost in contemporary society, I think.

Pretty nice. Speaking of the confusion that one faces in life. Usage of strong words, again. Some words go over the head of a normal reader. But One gets the Idea of what you wanna say. I have often faced this kind of situation and it feels like hell; feels like your head is going to burst. We get a huge headache about this. It's not a sitation of life that one WANTS to be in.

Nice descriptive write.
