Some scars just take longer Caffeine, it depends on the severity of the original cut. We are obviously never the same again, but we do with time, grow stronger, some tougher! that is the one we need to avoid. Becoming so hard no love can break through, then, life is really not a pleasure, in my book anyway. Life is a challenge to stay open. Smiling at your few but greatly healing words. Time never healed my wounds. They grew less inflamed, the angry ragged edges of torn heart and soul quit hurting constantly, but it was a constant battle to keep them from oozing bitterness into my life that would taint my relationships with other men, other friends, other family members...Especially when it seemed the man/men could walk away with no wounds, or at least, time seemingly healed them quickly and completely. Again, you've managed to say a lot with a few words. What you don't say is powerful and the insinuation isn't too subtle to overlook. Good job.
