Hope to the END

Hope to the END

A Poem by Imperfection

Hope had entrapped my soul

My vision blurred,

I had braved ahead,

Kept moving until I was lifeless.

Aw, this is such a sad view of hope. It makes me really sad.

"entrapped" sounded kinda funny to me in that sentence. Like the grammar is fine, but I think you could've used a better word.

I think it's amazing how people can right such a short poem, and really create an effect on the reader.

Thanks for entering.

Very good. But the poem seems to 'read weird' to me. I think there might be something wrong with the tense, or maybe it has something to do with passive/active voice. I can't really tell just yet. Still, the poem is short and sweet and gives hard detail to a quick moment. Great write, and best of luck

Hope is not lifeless. Hope is moving ahead and reaching a happy destiny. A destiny of peace and tranquility. May you find the peace and tranquility that you seek.

Wow

Have I felt this before. I just relived it again. This tiny little four lined write has the power of a heavyweights punch! Man that is writing at its best. Keep going through this pain and soon the life-store will become a bit bigger and lighter, not lifeless any longer.

Peace- Roxy

Aww this is so sad. And yet can be true at times. You paint such powerful images with so few lines. That is hard to do and yet it seems effortless. Great job!
