DEAR DAUGHTER

Bathed in the serenity of passionate flow,
Plunged into the land that never belonged.
Severed by the battalion of tarnished foes,
Lost,barely walking,barely grown--
Subjected to harsh reality unknown.

And I,
I watched as you fought it through.

Thoughts that were sinking into a mind,
Too inhumane,unreal existence.
You lifted a sword--
That was only meant to be untouched,
And proved a love that was worth living.

And I,
I watched as you fought it through.

Through all the voices that pierced through
You only heard the ones that loved you.
As existence--
Turned living into an invisible array
You broke the analogue of
Forever more.

And I,
I watched as you fought it through.

With a pride that rushed into the heart,
Rising,with every battle you fought--
Your little hands,your little heart
Though grown up,I will still keep warm.
