LETTERA Poem by Shweta Sunil
Hollow words,broken promises
The letter, stained blue-- With tear-spoken love Shoved into the throat of the helpless The helplessly hopeful. Floating aimlessly through the ripples Of endless, unseen depths In confinement of its crumbled self-- The story of some love, known by two Had halted it's journey with itself Devoid of the destination, As it fought through the tiniest waves To reach a love too late, With a drizzle of brown dust That took away the life That it had,for when it seemed, A million years ago. © 2016 Shweta Sunil |
