RENEWALA Poem by Shweta Sunil
Summer had come to a halt
Stole away the light that once was warmth- Fall had emerged, red and yellow-- Shoved into mere submissive darkness. As the wind grazed pensively Lining the periphery of the midnight dew, The leaves borne by the warmth-- Wind caressed and carried away. With an 'air’ of skillful finesse, She turned them grey, lifeless, Only to whisper enigmatically, To blow along the fidelity of innocent minds That were once blinded by prior light. © 2016 Shweta SunilFeatured Review
