CHANGE

CHANGE

A Poem by Shweta Sunil
"

Well, this piece might seem a little crude and impulsive.. But it's just an immediate reflection of my thoughts :)

"
Sometimes--
A soul with the essential thirst,
A broken heart that needs no fixing,
A loving that needs no justification;

Sparkling waters with no shore,
A river with no flow,
A sky with its limits unknown;

A pain, one that can't be overcome,
An abode with comfort, some,
A religion that has come from love;

Losing somebody you love,
Losing the green in your garden,
Forgetting how to love,
Forgetting how it felt to be loved;

Is what change is,
It is,what makes you

It is,
What leads to the ultimate convergence--
The rendezvous of the soul-less mind
And the thought-less heart

And then,
The soul is reborn.

Many reasons for change. Most are painful.
"It is,
What leads to the ultimate convergence--
The rendezvous of the soul-less mind
And the thought-less heart "
I learn the hard way. Be kind, listen and spend time with the family. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry. Left something for the reader to think about.
