MIRAGE

Just when you thought that you were happy
You saw the sun shine

Just when you thought that you were alone
You saw him lie on the road,drunk

Just when you thought that the roads couldn't get any harder
You watched yourself climb the mountain

Just when you thought the world couldn't get any darker,
The stars came up and lit it up

Just when you thought that you had reached the end
You stood there,staring at the start

Just then, you realise that all you saw
Was just a mirage
To quench the thirst of those dreams
A mirage, just a mirage.
