Premonition's Prophet

Premonition's Prophet

A Poem by Archer Knopp

Imprisoned in prophecy
You will know the truth too.
Just wait.. wait, you'll see
You'll see premonition
come true.
Do not dwell on assumption.
Harness the everything
that is Knowledge.
Tap it. Taste it, tune it feel it
It's within your grasp: redemption.
Doom. Yes, I see yours too.
Swift upon death's wing
An angel will come to you, anew.
Insight, foresight premonition prediction predicting.
You can wait patiently for your destiny.
Awaiting, fearing you become prisoner to my vision.
Plotting, seeing, watching I premonition precision.
Imprisoned in prophecy
You will know the truth too.
Just wait.. wait, you'll see
You'll see premonition
come true.
Building, growing alive is your fire.
Within you, it's burning
A knowing
is what you desire.
A certainty of your future.. you're yearning...
Is everything something that was destine?
Is knowledge something tunable.
Is anything ever for certain
Is knowing
something tap-able.
Imprisoned in prophecy
You will know the truth too.
Just wait.. wait, you'll see
You'll see premonition
come true.

This felt to me like Ken Wilber in verse! I tasted self-growth and opportunity in this, I liked your choice of topic immensely!

Premonition can be said by a common man today. Can see the hopelessness and guns of war controlling the world. Future is scary for the next generation. I like the flow and the desire of your words. A excellent poem.

I think this would make great lyrics to a song! Good job. I like the repetition of the opening lines, and I like the recurring attention to the unshakable truth of the prophecy.
