     Whose friendship can never be sold

Ever since I met you, you’ve always stood out

     You’re always so logical, clear, and concise

     Whenever I’m down or need a hand

     You’re always there with your sisterly advice

 

Remembering our good times

     Brings back memories so clear

     Seems like I’ve known you forever

     Even though it’s only been a year

 

Always an inspiration

     An unmatchable friend indeed

     Thank you for all you’ve done

     For helping me in times of need

 

Like a elegant rose in a field of grass

     Your grace and beauty is unmatchable

     You’re not afraid to differ from the rest

     Which is what makes you so admirable

 

You’ve always been there for me

     I’m sorry if I’m not always in touch

     No number of words can express my thanks

     So I guess it matters not if I don’t talk so much

 

Never have I felt deprived

     Of your company when I needed it

     As we watch music videos in silence

     You make me smile with your wit

 

Yet sometimes it’s hard

To have a friend so far apart

But you’re closer to me

Than many others I see

 

Through thick and thin

Whatever we’ve been through

Just remember that there is always

Someone thinking of you <3

I find the poems about people the hardest to write because it's really difficult to put such amazing personalities into words.

This piece is for one of my virtual best friends/honorary older sister: Miss Evans (as she is known as here on WC). Happy birthday :)
