Save Us

Save Us

A Poem by Amethy
"

A poem about who's really going to save us in the end.

"
Cradled in my arms, a slipping life upon us.
They're never going to save us,
it was all in our minds.
They've never kept their promise,
only gave us asinine lies.
When you pray at night does the Lord listen?
Is there a sign above to know you've been forgiven?
For where the f**k is my forgiveness, and where the hells the light?
To guide us and to help us,
survive this night.
A gentle hand, broken beyond repair,
graces my chin in his final act of care.
Were his prays answered?  All he wanted was to see his sister,
but now he'll never know her.
The light leaves his eyes that stare up at me.
And I know his soul will wonder aimlessly, threw out
the land of the cursed.
Aczume was created, on demon grounds.
So why haven't the angles struck it down?
Why, oh why do they make it an Asylum, for,
we must be f*****g crazy for wanting freedom?
I'm tired of caring the weight of this god damned, bloody battlefield.
There's no relying on the wings, nor the heavens s**t.
Where's your Angle of Death that left you in the black abyss?
And did the Reaper have glitch, or did she make him, her b***h.
Sweet of crimson red, pool in my eye's, and drips down my chin.
Sword in one hand and anger in my heart,
blood on my face fill with vengeance for my kin.
Your guardian angle can't save you, from your f*****g self.
To survive you must fight, to live you must kill.
They don't find that holly, well, F**k You p***y.
Living is selfish didn't you know that?
We kill, we steal, challenge and question faith.
The staff shall forever penetrate the womb, and the sticky fluid,
will forever pierce the egg.
The values of the weak are stolen by the strong, That's how you b*****s designed us,
don't you see.
And if you don't like it, well you can just bite me.
Only our will's to survive, is that our sin?
But where have you been,
on the break of our insanity.
You weren't there on our right, only the fire on our left.
And, with that, we give you our inhumanity.
We do what we must.
So f**k the angles, it's the demons, that are going to save us.
