My Life and My Mother

My life could be a movie

Because I speak in rhyme

My mother should be proud

In life so many people lose me

And I've changed so much over time

But my mother loved me so

 

My life could easily end one day

Living life just to see how far I can really go

If I remember what they all say

I will lose myself and never know

Exactly who I am in this life of mine

 

My life could be an open book

All the pages mixed up and burned

My mother never lost control

In my life I've always had that look

After school, what have I really learned?

That my mother will never go away.
