I shouldn’t let my guard down

For it is that guard which makes me strong.

To be convincing is to be in the crowd

The crowd of those weak and wrong

Hush now

The end of the world is not near

Not even close

So close your eyes

Don’t dream too loud

Wish of those to disappear

Of those who oppose

The truth between the lies

Be loved by the crowd

It’s important to fit in

Among the people around you

To be the truest friend

Is to care what makes you true

Don’t lose

Yourself

Trying to fit in

These people will try

And try again

Open Your

Mind

To what opens your soul

For all of these people

Will never really know

Who You

Really are
