CrazyLeggs

A Poem by amenimity

poem by KC writer Joni Wilson aka Amenimity

"

So opinionated with his own views

He overlooks the world’s voice

She is screaming loud and clear

And after a major, he still has no clue

It’s about right and wrong

Black and white

Short and long

Dark and light

The world has a pulse and a point of view

So hypocritical when it comes to writing

He overlooks the entire point

Apologies mean nothing without execution

Maybe it’s useless fighting

It’s all about ugly and appealing

Fat and thin

Touching and feeling

Loosing to win

The world has a soul and a strong sense of humor

Laughing to make his friends

Down when he’s alone

Never knowing when to end

That’s why he’s always home

Complaining at his self-pity

And taking it out on me

Like it’s my fault he’s not pretty

Give me a reason to make me believe

So erroneous when it comes to being

Hating people for what he does

He makes the same mistakes he criticizes

That’s why the friends are leaving

So self-satisfied when it comes to thinking

Judging those who are indifferent

It’s my fault of course that rejection hits him

Disappoint me without blinking

It’s all about love and hate

Hips and eyes

Life and fate

Truth and lies

The world is still listening to the silence of pride
