satin kisses in the cloudsA Poem by Lyn Andersonnot what you might expectOnce I lived in a corrugated castle in a rainy kingdom of lies ...
I spent a fair amount of my youth walking on clouds.. Turned out I didn't like it too much, Spent most my time gasping for air searching for substance inside the words that didn't support me, Left me flailing, without a soft place to land -- Instead I like the weight of you, and my feet firmly on the ground where I can hear the truth you speak without making a sound.
Satin kisses into the night
Put your may inside my might
And never let me go ...
