What I wouldn't do

What I wouldn't do

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

for you

"
Crickets chatter
in moon kissed
meadows just
outside your
window ...

The world
beyond wonder,
my chest
pressed against
your back

Tears, once angry,
now quietly
fold you
into my
dreams ...

it is here; now,
in these moments --
I don't know
what I wouldn't do
for you ...

When love steal our mind and heart. We know true peace and joy.
"it is here; now,
in these moments --
I don't know
what I wouldn't do
for you …"
I love the above lines dear Lyn. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

Thank you so much. I always enjoy coming back
a strong, heartfelt write. being with the one we love - doesn't get much better than that. sometimes we don't realize what we have until we lose it and find ourselves missing it and will do anything to get it back. the wording is so sweet and beautiful. great opening and powerful closing. awesome song to boot. deep breath and sigh ... :)

Thank you so much. I swear I replied already. Maybe it was written in my head
This is a lovely poem. I like the way it flows from a dreaminess to a quiet intensity. I particularly like the scene you set in the first stanza.
