and some just need to be burnt or buried.. these words are yet another exception and just need to be set free, shouted out and celebrated.......there now, that's told ya........ you may of course substitute thoughts for words where applicable...Neville

Thanks my friend, I appreciate the visit and the reviews.
I like the words here and can totally relate but the format leaves me somewhat frustrated...maybe that is the intention?

Since I started writing I often wrote same themed poems on one piece of paper. I would then separate them. At some point I started leaving them the way they were written and it became a bit of a signature style for me. Interesting that you should feel that way ... I think some people have suggested at different points to separate them. Originally I started leaving them together because I was putting up too many poems in a day and drawing negative attention

I often feel intensity by the way things are written because I write so free hand and the words and emotions come. People give you flack because your poetry is short?..no wonder no one reads mine.lol

I don't post even half of what I write and try to stay out of the fray. My wounds are too deep and I can't deal with cruel people. They stress me out

You say what you mean, mean what you say, and people then try to read between the lines and take offense -- incorrectly labelling you cold or rude or arrogant etc etc when you are the furthest from that. As a point of interest over the years I have had several occasions to do personality tests. That combination of deep empathy and sharp analysis with risk taking running through it all is less than 15 percent of the population, which explains why that combo is so misunderstood. 85 percent of the world finds it odd at best.

and we should not be bitten by our own honesty...yet some go past those boundaries and are cruel simply to be cruel.

I am constantly surprised by people who don't see the difference.
This feels familiar Lyn. All those thoughts that invade our mind and refuse to go away, leaving us with the dilemma of facing them or biting them down.
When we do find the courage to face them, in an attempt at closure, there is no gaurentee of success, and we realise the door was bolted for a reason.
One day, hopefully...

The formatting of your verses in three distinctive fonts bookmark this as a most indelible piece of work...of art, actually. Very clever!

Since the late 1980s I have written poems in blocks, and later separated them into separate poems. Here, I learned to format those poems together, as they were written. I am glad you enjoyed
