the dog is barking at me
not to speak in poetry
his tone is rather bossy
a little less puppy
more Sister, not sibling, but nun ..

more kind of snappy
if you care to ask me,
the cat is purring madly.... 
I'm nothing 
but a disappointment.

so says the rat what's yours is mine
in all this human generosity
a little louder now, 
barks the dog,
Do I have to make an appointment?

no not at all,
you silly fool
what do you take me for?
tis so darn hard to decide
what you are at all.....

and with that he sighed, and sat ...
seems I am talking to a wall ...

When I spotted a collab betw these two people (of all people!) . . . I suddenly recognized the similarities in the ways you two view & write about the world. Nobody could ever guess which lines are his & which are hers. You two create a seamless fit between your snarky cryptic refreshing treatment of two people on different wavelengths. Hilarious you still can't edit your own comments. Anyway, I think it's weird I forgot whose is whose. From the moment I came here in 2012, I was entranced by Neville, whose writing then was rarely viewed or reviewed. Eventually, he paid attention to my drooling, lol.
