pulling home groceries
in an stewardess carry-on she had the time to wonder, while shifting a sweaty pack of toilet tissue to her gimp hand, just what in the hell she was thinking when she left the car in the drive. a heat wave's probably not the best time to forgo air conditioned comfort in favour of her feet. what made her picture the elavil in the cupboard, and how many it would take? "but she just started a new job" ... and in that moment she realised how easy it is to take that leap ... and then she went home and made guacamole instead.
