I am ticked. The Prime Minister attended a mosque that not only is known to support terrorism, but also segregates women. He could have attended a progressive ceremony. He chose, instead, to have his female cabinet ministers subject themselves to being segregated. Not acceptable. Not in the name of tolerance inside this country. No way.

Really...that's quite surprising and yet it's not. From what I've seen on the internet over the last several months, there has been serious backlash to "cultural marxism" and "social justice" from the like of the alt-right. I don't know what to believe anymore myself. Great expression of indignation on your part.

Yet after I read your poem, I watched a video that featured a really stand-offish Justin Trudeau being unapologetic about his views on Muslims and the actions that came from it. He is a character to put it mildly.

One step forward, two steps back....Some things just never catch up with history, do they. My answer, put Microsoft in charge. They will have so many updates you wouldn't be able to place a piece of paper between any and all discrepancies of MAN. As one, I bow my head in shame.

He goes to a mosque that practices Sharia law. He doesn't care. He isn't a woman. What makes me so sad and annoyed is that women's rights isn't about what political party you belong to. These women should have declined to participate in order to effect change. Instead, they went along with their incompetent leader. Thank you for reading. Indeed, I am still very angry about this.
spot on! our own President and his minions have subjected Americans to that particular brand of leftist correctness that blurs all the lines ... we support all kinds of regimes (Saudi Arabia in particular) who demonize gays, and subject women to worse than slaves ... we think we need them as we have so few friends over there :(( its a troubling world isn't it ... our Supreme Court has ruled against states that passed legislation to require photo ID (proof of citizenship) even when the states made them available free of charge .. how hard can it be .. our Democratic leaders say it is a racist attempt to deny the vote .. so ridiculous in my pea-brain .. sorry .. suppose to be about your poem ...and your own angst .. spot on you kissable lips you

In my opinion tolerance is accepting one's right to their beliefs, provided that those beliefs don't threaten basic human rights, which, in my opinion, it is my basic human right to sit down next to a man in any venue I choose within my own country. The fact that me saying this endangers MY LIFE is the reason our elected leaders must never pander to ridiculous and archaic cultural CRAP. Yes, I said it. I am a woman, and I should be able to worship, or not, next to you, if I choose.
yes. It is a little hypocritical.
I can only hope that his ultimate goal is to influence some of these cultural views that don't align with the views of our liberal nation. If his primary goal is to promote peaceful relationships then maybe he's saving the segregation fight for another day. I don't know. I'm not happy about it so I hope it was a strategic move and not a dumbass move. But for a guy who photobombs wearing no shirt and holding a surf board... Sure he looks good but no one likes a show boat. Personally, I think it was a dumbass move but I'm hoping that there's more to it.

I think he thinks it shows how cool and accepting he is. You can't preach pro choice and turn around and pray with the men who would condemn a woman to death for having an abortion. We traded in a straight up sweater vest with a boring message for an arrogantly dangerous hypocrite. I didn't like him. I didn't trust him. Now I know why.

That is embarrassing, and disgraceful. There is no way, in my opinion, to put a happy face on these actions.

Good one KL. For all his arrogance, the elder Trudeau wouldn't have bowed this low. Witness the War Measures Act of 1970. His brand of liberalism reads more like today's conservatism. We have drifted into a hellish landscape of political correctness and live in a land that has lost it's balls. You can find junior's photo in the dictionary. Look under jackass.

People keep confusing cultural accommodation with Religious accommodation. There is a difference. Culture and tradition are fine if they do not offend or contravene your country's laws and morals -- when they do, they need not to be tolerated.
PMJT has the brains of his mother and the arrogance of his father. He attends mosques quite often, and usually ones with somewhat suspect imans preaching in them. He likes to flaunt how progressive he is by bowing to sharia law.

There's towing the party line, and then there is standing up for what is right. The female MPs should have stood against him on this move. Sharia law is not Canadian law. There are many prominent female Muslims who are outraged at his doing this.
The fire! I appreciate reading you well stated thoughts.
