A note to friends at the cafe'

just a little note to tell you what's up

A little note to let you know what I am up to
I'll do it in a sorta poem so I won't bore you,
Faithful readers please don't go, I implore you ...
I am not in a writing drought
Have no fear, without a doubt,
I just don't like where my head is at,
And what all those dark thoughts are about ...
So in the interim you will see,
I am organizing all 1000+ of my poetry.
Take a peek inside each book,
I know you will find some things to look.
For all you poets who perceive me as popular, I kid you not,
A lot of those early writes weren't received so hot --
But there were a few of you, who've been there,
Since day one, and you are the reason, I stayed to have fun ...

You have been monopolizing the airwaves with your busy reorganization project . . . good luck with that, I tried it a little bit, awhile back, but as you mentioned in another review response, this dumb website doesn't make it easy at all, huh? Despite the clunky Neanderthal aspects of this website, the people are the best. I totally understand the way doing an organizational project can be the best way to "sit out" a contrary state of mind. If you are going anywhere on your holiday, have a good one! (((HUGS)))

I am compiling a book that has writings specific to the cafe' -- of course, the whole Vaillancourt saga will be in there. Seems like a lifetime ago, but a little bee told me, he is buzzing about here somewhere.

Yes, however, he will always be scorned now, and using his real name is what he wants, and he can't, in most poetic circles now ... so, that's about all we can expect. It's actually very sad, I think, that someone would go to such lengths to gain artificial recognition. No different than people who cheat at sports or anything else.

Thanks. It is taking a lot longer than I thought. But I left it till I had over 1000 poems --- that's 40 books I need to put up.:) I didn't think people would tolerate more than 25 poems per booklet.

I am still here. Just organizing my work, which I should have done, a long time ago -- my page is in upheaval. In the meantime, if you check out my featured book, Provocatively yours, I don't think you have seen most, if any of those poems. I was very UNREAD when I first got here. And you didn't pick me up till Frieda came along ...

I said the same thing. But I never came back. Creative spirits are finicky creatures aren't they? We like to say we are going to do things, but then when life derails on us, or takes us in a new direction...well that's when the train ticket gets lost and so does the creative vision. I am not going away. Just taking a break to organize my work. I can't post when I am not in a good spirit -- everything comes out dripping in venom -- and yes, I did that in the early days, but I am not that same person, and choose to be the new, me, with a somewhat more positive outlook on life.
