A moment to see the beauty

A moment to see the beauty

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

a collaboration with http://www.writerscafe.org/jtrogue and http://www.writerscafe.org/AnaPapaya

"
The quiet surrounds,
Color in the sky fading,
Giving a chance to pause ...
Watching the world go by;
A moment to see the beauty.

The gentle breeze
Caresses my lips;
I feel you all around me
Whispering the secrets
Where you have been ...

Reflections of life,
In all that I see,
Preservations of time,
Caught in still frame memories --
These moments to cherish.

Leaving me longing,
Soul troubled by missed chance,
Left with too many questions.

This was very beautiful you all:) I have been to this place many times to seek a balance to just let it all go, sometimes to even shake my fist before the sky. I even felt that love that belonged. Beautiful place:)

Thank Jon for the ambiance. Ana and I just came along for the trip.

When we started this one, I suggested a whimsical feeling. I think it worked.

Yes, it's definitely lighthearted & whimsical, but also very true-to-life!
This collaboration, which is so different than the last one I read (I didn't get a read request this time ;)) is equally successful.
Breeze on lips, lips to ear implied, what you leave to our judgement equally powerful.

No. When Ana added her part, I didn't realize the first part was what I had written.
Regrets....opportunities that slip through one's fingers. We can all relate to that. Memories....we go over them again and again questioning every nanosecond. There are no answers though. I have to say the collaboration is seamless. Truly, you were meant to write together. Lydi**

Thanks from me too Lydi! :)
first verse puts me right there ..in that moment ...just being present ..and how intrusive our memories can be at such a time ... i am kind of pissed you guys did that to me ;)))) (of course i am kidding)
the uniqueness of this collaboration is sparkling clear but it flows as one ..for me .. nice job!

ps. did ya'll intend to repeat "surround/s" in the first and third verses? ;)

The odd thing is our words do seem to flow together, and it happens so easily.
