I am aware unfelt comes up with the dreaded red squiggle, I took out my licence, which also comes up with the red squiggle, because spell check is un-Canadian.

great and wise caramel chocolate droplet ... my dad use to look up in bewilderment and say to anyone addressing him .."sorry ...i took my ears out!" ..i can see to this day in his lazyboy, faded bib overalls ..sitting back and grinning ... Ok dad .. i get the picture! :)
we can be and are so very hurtful with our words ..sometimes so practice the wounds are surgical .. our political "stars" these days need "the unsaid remains" tatted on their fleshy parts ... a fine snryu in my opinion ..very complete!

Thank you. We all could use a little stand back and wait when it comes to our words.
first I ignore the red squiggly so you Ms KL have something to correct.. wouldn't want you to get rusty...
and the senryu (which can be spelled senyru both getting the red squigglies.. I guess this mean either way it is a non word... shows you what the "experts" know...
at any rate, your seynru (might as well EARN that red squiggly), aka senryu, is philosophical and rings true in so many cases... they say words can't hurt or cause harm, but ask someone who has been bullied or stalked or humiliated, words carry weight and cut deeply...

I would guess that I have bumped my chins millions of times in 46 years. Yet, I cannot remember where I got a bruise yesterday. The words a drunken man once told me when I was 11 still ring in my ears now and again, and that, was a very good man, who just made a stupid mistake.
KL,
Seems you can compose equally well in any form you undertake … the hallmark of an accomplished poetess … this spot-on Senryu exemplifying your apt skill.
Au contraire, Ma Chère Dame … "unfelt" is, indeed, a real word, and you've used it perfectly in its context to express and admonish a very wise and knowing message for your fans to heed; certainly, I, amongst them.
Good stuff, Lady-Poet … I love it "muchly" (how's that for a word … LOL! ⁓ Richard

I am Canadian, so a lot of my perfectly acceptable spellings come up with a squiggle. Oddly, I tend to use Z in a lot of ways Americans do, but otherwise, I keep mostly to the Canadian/U.K. habits.
