Sipping on synchronicity

Sipping on synchronicity

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

a love poem, what else?

"
there is a moment

suspended,
when one of us begins,
and the other ends --
synchronicity.

that is the moment

our eyes meet,
our hearts beat,
and I sip you,
oh, so sweet --

words become wholly
unnecessary,
and we wouldn't
say them anyway,

because that moment,

is ours;
it is the now
that matters,
not the next.

This is a well-penned demo (showing instead of telling) of "synchronicity" . . . I have to admit I prefer this style to your latest experimentation with the more highly-constructed poetic styles. But at least you're having fun trying different ideas & writing partners.

It is more natural, and also, the Crocodile poem is very angry, which I wear less and less lately.
though I love communication, when there truly is synchronicity, often the communication is not through words... and those moments are the ones we often savor most...

Thanks. I am a blabber mouth, so sometimes it is nice to not talk.
Loving in the moment is how we need to love or else we will miss the best moments of our lives.

Thank you so much. I am glad you enjoyed.
This one is just lovely. Sometimes you must put all else aside and let the moment guide your actions, not your words. These actions here are very full of love.

Thank you very much, I appreciate it.
yes, not the next, the now...and this is pure love when in a relationship we are not sure where one of us ends and one of us begins...that makes the two of us, definitely a "one"---

nicely expressed...

Thank you very much. I am liking that word.
Beautiful love poeming, KL!

Imagery, emotion, tenderness, originality, great word choices, mood, moment, smoothness in Free Verse that comes from well-placed line-breaks … it's all here to captivate imaginations and sweep through the heart's imagination and enjoyment.
Yes, we always really have only our "nows" … nicely expressed.

Thank you most gratefully for sharing the wonder of your excellent pen! ⁓ Richard
