inspired by Corset in general, and two of her poems -- Providence,
and this one http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/Corset/1801615/
mysteries over a coffee cup stir my spoon speaking quietly I have to listen to really hear them by fleeting softness, I have to open wide my eyes to see ... visions what the universe is trying to tell you might not be what you believe.
Sometimes it's necessary to question the things we have believed for so long. The facts stand before us and we would be fools not to notice them and take heed. Drinking a cup of java and observing the world...it all becomes clear. Liked it! Lydi**
this is right down my alley ..love the depth ..the personifications in your opening three lines are better than mocha! into my library this goes ..i think it is stunning ...the simplicity sparkles

How wonderful, thank you, and Corset for a unique view of the world.
This has truly spiritual and philosophical traits. You managed the musing tone very well. Thought provoking and picturesque poem, I could clearly envision someone brooding over things sitting before their coffee cup, wondering.

You're welcome. It's always nice to be inspired by other writers.
great inspiration Corset...and KL...wow, yes, have that cup of inspiration in the morning...sip it and then face the day...no matter what, dreams can come true---and some might just be meant to take us away from our reality...either way...i'll take two sugars and some cream.

That is such a nice thing for you to say :) Thank you!
Yes, KL,
The voice of life and all creation is ever present, continuously streaming all around us and through our every fiber … if only we were able to hear it in its purest state.
First, if we "open wide our eyes" we will begin to perceive its existence, and where better to begin than over a hot, comforting cup of java?
Beautifully rendered, Dear Poetess … your own voice speaks deeply, too.
Thank you for sharing, and a special thanks for the honorable mention … I humbly bow! ⁓ Richard
