an echo of my soul

an echo of my soul

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

a threeway collaboration with ~Papaya~ and Jon Roggie

"
  etched
on the parchment of my past,
are the words
I cannot erase ...

chronicles
           of each moment
that designed who I am;
shaping my story

               and on the pages
the empty spaces
  are smoothed out
with time

leaving only footprints  --
                stories half-remembered
an echo
of my soul

in moments fleeting,
regrets never forgotten --
another bit
of writing ...

etched
on the parchment of the past,
my ink remains,
                    though paper

is dust.

It was an honour writing with the two of you -- we have a great mind meld here I think. I love the way it turned out. Check out http://www.writerscafe.org/AnaPapaya and http://www.writerscafe.org/jtrogue

I like the way it flows. By the way, KL was our editor.
