So many delightful aspects to your message here . . . plus, I can very much recognize the anger subsiding & the acceptance growing/showing in your writing, as the months go along. Love these:
"Into the puddle That had become The middle Of me."
"You had on Hip waders."
"My ink No longer Needs to roar."
I can't tell you how much it has expanded my ability to write (& just BE), once I grew beyond having an angry response to the earlier parts of my life, that's why I especially love this last line of yours I just quoted.

I often find gems inside the reviews of others that spur me to write -- I did this a lot with Frieda, who alas, has not been back here in a long time, and with Noel, who only visits infrequently now.
"Sometimes quiet can be a life raft".
I like this line. To me the quiet is the listening ear, just listening, and then the being together.
Just being. Nothing else. Just the being together. Lovely poem KL.
Reading this evokes such a lovely feeling of calm and peace in me, it reads like a relief, an effortless sigh of letting out one's turbulence and allowing oneself to feel love and harmony again. Shining write.

Thank you so much. I owe Alfred Kukitz for the inspiration, and a farmboy I know for the feeling. :)
