Ah, yes...that is the moment. When "yes" is not a valid option, there is nothing else but "maybe" or "no". Been there...a difficult memory but a learning experience. At this point, when I'm finally (it takes me a long time - the ever hopeful you know) DONE...I'm done. Another one I can certainly relate to. :)

Thank you. He always spewed hateful things. I am done, I hate you, etc. I told him once I never say those things unless I mean them. When I finally did, he didn't believe me. What he did believe, however, was my lack of interest, in him, or anything to do with him.

Boundaries should always be respected, when they're crossed more than once then that becomes a pattern of abuse. I still fall into this trap even though I should know better.
