or is that your
attitude I see
jutting out
obscenely
between your
nose and your
square tip shoes ...

you always need to be
the centre of attention
and you are clearly
the expert on
everything from
diesel engines
to nuclear physics
you thought I was
an easy mark ...

you thought yourself
more than adequate
to enchant me
away from a man
you believe to be
a simple farm hand,
but I see
through you
and into him.

oh my ... some Jack ... hot on the tail of the best Classy Lasses around .... well my dearest friend ...its a good thing you are not flattered ... the fullness of himself is not compensated by the stretch of imaginations ... nor his belts ...( i would wager ... :) but let me put it to you my love ..who is to judge?? ;) perhaps his inflation is in direct proportion to his properly deflated thoughts of self ... directly manifested in malfunctions of a mind not connected to matter ... limply astute to the sharp edged rebuke .. of one of the best around! eh!? such a foolish man! :) I really like this .. its a keeper!

I wished I had met more intellectual and nice men, most of them are either boasting with their knowledge too much, making you feel totally stupid and lower your self-confidence or they might be smart but real jerks and clowns when it comes to being with women. *sigh Not that easy to find a match in this world...

I looked way outside my traditional narrow minded box, and so did he -- and we found a very good companionship -- no one would automatically put me with a farmer, nor him with me -- but it works -- intelligence is a necessity, but there is more to intelligence than knowing things from books. We compliment each other nicely, in a way that two people who are more similar do not.:) I highly recommend looking at relationships with fresh eyes. But man, it took me more than a few mistakes.
