nestled in your cloud

nestled in your cloud

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/erin-cilberto/1741430/ to Jacob, for your inspiration

"
we came together
in a climate
of uncertainty

forecast tempests
did not come
to pass --

I spend my days
nestled in your
cloud --

so cool on the
outside,

yet warm and
secure

in the eye
of your love --

there is no need
for a raincoat

when you spend
your days
making rain.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

heaven bends
to meet
the clouds
at my feet
every inch of you
greets
the open sky
inside me
as I
surrender
to your
rain.

I appreciate, truly, just haven't been here to say hello
love beyond the midst of uncertainty, that thrives, nonetheless, because it is real - framed in nature and rain - feel like dancing under the rain

I am glad you liked it. I have another one -- not sure where it fits, quite yet.

There was only place I could put the other one. And so it becomes the second part to this piece.

Somehow I feel it's related to your other new poem (the one about trading raincoats for umbrellas). It's a nice one again and it reminds me of some of my older writings. It has a calm and relaxed yet cool tone I adore.
