there is no such thing as love without strings but they don't have to be the kind that bind and constrict, made by man and sanctioned by a man made god -- let our love be tethered by nature and not design, gossamer strings beautiful, flexible and strong -- ephemeral yet resilient, a bond as God intended it to be.
This is perfectly gorgeous. I was truly struck by how you took those strings and redefined them in a fluttered heartbeat.

Although I can't accept the existence of any pre-historic deity I loved your poem.

An incredibly beautiful flow here, along with the poems imagery there is the image of a poet having these thoughts, this flurry of philosophy and deep feelings you need to get down. I think as writers we can all recognize that passion you are laying down.

Thank you so much. I appreciate the visit and the review.
I am not a native english speaker, what is gossamer please ?
I recognize what you say about man-made guidelines, the egoic mind at work. Power borrowed from logic or even worse, religion. Not the essence, a fake identity, a character lie.

ah thank you my friend. I appreciate the visit and the review.
-- i agree with VanessaandtheCat... this is a divine piece of poetry... but it's not overtly religious and hence an atheist like me can relate to the sentiments expressed... -- i like that you relied on nature to convey the significance of a beautiful bond... and how it should unravel 'naturally' rather than because of an oath "sanctioned by a man made God"... -- there is a sense of emotions flowing in this piece... without any obstructions... a kind of progression towards genuine fruition... and that makes the poet's voice sound very humble and magical... -- it's more of a plea rather than an overpowering sermon and i like that effect a lot... it makes everything that's said very believable...
