painful mornings

painful mornings

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

it really isn't pretty, it's not even poetry, it's just me coping.

"
if I could
frame
it
neatly

pack it
tight
like a
poem

into
an
organized
quatrain.

make this
pain
go
away

box it
uptight,
contain
it ...

wait,

and a series of swears
would take away your bite.

to not write is to let you win.

if I could turn back time,
I would go run into him.

Perfect
Agony
Inside
Nerves

Pills
Acetominophen
Ibuprophen
Naproxen

Points
Again
Into
Numb
