Painted daisies

Painted daisies

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

when someone sends you a text intended for someone else, it could be unintentional, or not ...

"

Poor Miss

Laughable
Mis-texts
syrupy sweet

"if you love her, go after her"

Poor miss,
she doesn't know you
like I do.

on the bottom of my heart

like a dryer sheet,
but much more
unpleasant,

it sticks
to me
like glue --

the overwhelming
stench
of you.

Clearly
you
meant
to hurt me

it didn't

Painted Daisies

everybody is something
on the outside
different from the in.
but at least with flowers
you know what's in the under,
when you begin.

I agree dear Poet.
"everybody is something

when you begin."
Hard to know what we have till time and life together is done. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

thank you, very late.
It is always a good thing to take a careful look before hitting "Send". : )
Unless it was sent to hurt, in which case, good to hear "it didn't"

One never knows, but yes, watch that send button.
I do get or send those miss-texts inadvertently but who knows what the other person will think? I guess we have to ask them, us for clarifications. You have questioned life and intentions marvelously...:).......

Thank you, I appreciate it.
As always your shorts are full of expression and emotion, bitterness and defiance.

I hafta fully agree with him on this.
So great to read your fine writing again... we never judge a book by its cover for the rods go deeper than the title.

Thanks for the review, although, constructive editing requires a constructive suggestion.
I thoroughly enjoyed this with the exception of the last two lines for some reason and when I eventually put my finger on it, I will add a foot note.........N
