April's song

April's song

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

umm, this came out as surprisingly hostile.

"
April,
the diva appears to be
out of tune and
hiding under a blanket
disguised as November --
it's time to put up
or shut up
b***h!

Yeah, I guess I am angrier than I realized about the lack of spring weather.
the original is much better, but Prince has too many copyright issues.

Yeah can't help but be jealous of those with real spring. Thank you for always stopping by.
So much for global warming! April on this side of the pond has been a disappointment, mostly far to chilly to do much outdoors without wrapping up; but the daffodils along the roadsides and on the verges are blooming quite beautifully.

Beccy.

The snow covered the crocuses (don't know where my hyancinthes are hiding
No sympathy from me, everything is blooming or has bloomed here. I'm down to the weekly ritual of circumcising the grass.

Maybe you're angry, but this made me smile. So I quite liked it. Short and sweet, and gets one hell of a point across.
