push pull and polar opposites

push pull and polar opposites

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

can't ever leave it in that calm collection

"
Surprise

something you never felt before
someone(s) who wanted HER more

funny how such a little thing
can put a kink in your swing

be careful what you wish for
there's two sides to that open door.

theory of relativity

he is relatively romantic
when he enters her
for me
but nothing is relative
about the way he gives his heart
to me

who are you?

assumptive premises swim in your sea of lies
who are you to judge the me inside his eyes?

full circle on the other side

Working so hard
at
containment.
erecting
barriers
around our secret parts
suppressing
words
uninterpretable
to our weary hearts

opening the door
to something
more ...

Nothing makes the heart grow fonder than to see someone else desires the one you are with. The first snippet is my favorite.

Thanks so much, and I agree, on all counts.
Oh, yes, there are two sides and those who refuse to see the side on the other side of the door are in for a rude awakening! Even in the midst of romance, one has to be wary...it's a shame really, but it is the truth. I so enjoy your words. Lydi**

Ah, thank you. I post a sappy one and then feel I have to balance it out.:)
yes, lots of walls, disinterest, after enough pain, love can be a cat and mouse game....

Thanks for stopping in. I know I have been gone a lot.
"containment", "walls", why do we live in a world where we are constantly on the defensive and self preservation, our hearts closed so as not to suffer abuse, pain, disappointments... I like how you express this "push/pull" and polar opposite KL.... Don't think there is a "relative" love just the male patriarchal right to screw over women in as many ways as possible... anyway you always find the artistic ways of expressing this... good to read you again KL

All good work, but of the four I liked the chastity device poem the best.

How clever, thank you.
Another collection of striking writes with such blatant emotions in them all. Who are you is my favourite.
