Don't Bully (from my almost 8 year old daughter)

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

a poem she wrote and asked me to post

"
Don't Bully.

When you bully,
and you get joy,
you shouldn't
because inside
your heart
you couldn't.

So what you should do
every day,
when you go play,
is use nice words
so you can hear
the tweety birds!

So cute! If only more people in the world were like your daughter. She really has some talent and is also very wise for her age.

Thanks. I think so too. And my daughter will appreciate it.
You touch a singular problem often visited in our world here one who thinks if i cant be happy no one can. That mentality of a hell on earth existence feeds on its grief and misery and lives in pity. It also touches on another of my own axioms Never grant forgiveness to one who neither deserves it nor asks for it. Well done

This is a subject near and dear to my daughters heart as well... your word-wise offspring has written a deft reminder of what we all should remember at every age! This is the type of thing most learn in kindergarten or Sunday School or from even marginally decent parents, but so many forget... and they certainly do miss out tweety bird songs... (Now... directly to your "Goode" little daughter... well done and keep writing!")

Thanks. She loves to hear it.
Great suff this. We seem to have painting as the medium choosen for artistic expression but in reality any medium in my humble should be greatly encouraged! It is a moment of radienace when the little ones tell you about their worls and what they think only to realize that in fact "one wishes" it was that way. Of course no one needs to be bullied so much to play so much to discover!

Great words!

This brought warmth to me.

Thank you.
