Confound me

Confound me

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

some more packaged thoughts.

"

his earth

despite the fact
he confounds me,

heart pounds me,
surrounds me,
drowns me,
in kisses from
the tip of my nose
to the tops
of my toes --

and in this act
he grounds me,
to his earth.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

sips of sanity --

he offered me
his cup,

I drank to
fill me up.

and need
became want.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Memories

elicit
emotions
extending

insistent
instants
into

me

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stolen,
Broken into;
violated --

for once
you needed me
just as much
as I needed you.

and I didn't have
to steal my after kisses --
you let them in
and I felt you

dream.

I love how you broke it up and the format to the poem, it adds to the impact of your words of true desire.

You are very welcome.
"need became want" moved me, well done collection, good to see even when super busy, you still had time to jot these down, and thank you for sharing.

Oh yeah, I remember washing my share of poems too.
His Earth and the final one are the best very emotion packed and descriptively powerful.
