Perfectly FanaticA Chapter by Lyn Andersonhttp://news.nationalpost.com/2014/12/02/hamilton-woman-and-her-children-kept-husbands-corps Title borrowed from Delmar Cooper's review.
I wish I had known
how easy it was to leave a man dead in his bed ... seal up the vents and cover the windows, lock the door. tell all my friends you are in the hands of the lord .. pray for the resurrection, and make damned sure the body is thoroughly decomposed before you call 911. Religious fanaticism, or the perfect crime? A woman claiming to be so religious she thought her husband, whom she says died of natural causes at home, would rise from the dead, was not charged with anything but petty crimes. Children's Aid authorities did not even investigate, despite the children living for months in a home with their dead father. The woman had the presence of mind to seal off all the windows and vents and lock the doors, but not to take proper care of her husband's body, which was so badly decomposed the cause of death cannot properly be determined. How convenient. © 2018 Lyn AndersonAuthor's NoteReviews
