Perfectly Fanatic

Perfectly Fanatic

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson

"
I wish I had known
how easy it was
to leave a man
dead in his bed ...

seal up the vents
and cover the windows,
lock the door.

tell all my friends
you are in the hands
of the lord ..

pray for the resurrection,
and make damned sure the body
is thoroughly decomposed
before you call 911.

Religious fanaticism,
or the perfect crime?

A woman claiming to be so religious she thought her husband, whom she says died of natural causes at home, would rise from the dead, was not charged with anything but petty crimes. Children's Aid authorities did not even investigate, despite the children living for months in a home with their dead father. The woman had the presence of mind to seal off all the windows and vents and lock the doors, but not to take proper care of her husband's body, which was so badly decomposed the cause of death cannot properly be determined. How convenient.

Why don't we split the difference and call it perfect fanaticism. Later we can wink as necessary.

It's here in Canada. A lot of our news you may not.
Had not heard of this story, but it seems the decision is seriously messed up.
I am thinking there was opportunity and intent, and no doubt motive.
Just need that Ba-Dunk sound from Law & Order now.

Ha ..yeah awfully nice..sounds like a creepshow horror flick you see on tv...lol..
Ok, I don't get it. :) Yes I do...women are so much smarter than men. Men always get caught. But I would like to say, if he was a musician and he is decomposing...that is just wrong. Ok, enough of that...someone really should have done something about the kids. That part just doesn't makes sense. And resurrection...yeah right...whatever.

I had thought that too.
Yet another real situation turned by your mind into verse which succinctly and grasphically tells the tale.
