Monkeys on the keys

Monkeys on the keys

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

you know the thing about monkeys

"
tapping on keys
with nail tips
siliconed on Thursday
last week
trying to figure out
how many
monkeys it would
take to get
the message to you
and how many years

after all,
it ain't Shakespeare.

i like the sarcasm and humor in this .. not sure at the moment who to assign the "monkey" role to .. i i kind of want the last line to read "it (aint) Shakespeare" .. hmmmmmmm silicone nails ..... makes me think a bit of plastic phoniness is implied ... but in the end .. she is trying to get the message through .. so i think better of her .. men can be and are ...pretty ignorant at times ;) again... i like the sarcasm and humor ..not easy things to accomplish in my opinion

The funny thing is I heard they put a group of monkeys in a room with computers and what they typed was posted and CVG stole it and claimed on another site he had written it. And this time they believed him. :) Really, sometimes it doesn't matter how you present it, they won't get it.

Ha ha, he would claim to have written it, and think it was brilliant just the same.:)
Monkeys. That is interesting. Nice photo and I like the tone of emotion in the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

The story behind this piece is a very emotionally shallow thing.

I have all kinds of esoteric tidbits rambling around in my memory. It was great for Trivial Pursuit!
If we all needed Shakespeare to get the message across… well, we'd have no over population issues! Imagine if we all just HAD to be romanced to iambic pentameter!! Oi! :D

You're welcome.
You can be direct with someone and still will not get the point. Draw them a picture and they just want to color it, LOL Nice one.

Yes I did, and I was shocked, I never known you to be sarcadtic ;)
Sometimes, some people are just plain deaf or blind - more than those who have real special needs. Sensitivity and good old-fashioned courteousness are cultivated in some and in others, none at all.

You are right about that.
Well if it doesn't have 3d's pop ups and mobile moving around I don't blame him. I don't get it either. See is all about the world of signs apparently. Oh but you don't see the signs I have been told many times which is exactly what the writing says.

Oblovious is a planet full of males

Thankyou
