Through the chatter she hears high praise for a man who bleeds arrogance and revels in his own malaise clashed by a certain happenstance can't think him anything but mean.
His words oozed hate and patronize, for her he felt not but disdain, needed to cut her down to size, despite his want for her acclaim. his free is coded envy green.
Outstanding music and powerful poetry. Easy to tell if someone had concern for us or not.

When kindness and tenderness is gone. Time to separate. Thank you dear Poet for sharing the outstanding poetry.

There are people whose outward appearance belies a very cruel underneath.

You are right. Know the people first before opening doors you cannot close.
Yey! I know of this very well, in fact everywhere that I go arrogance follows for some unknown reason. Revelling in the malaise is even better. Running amok through it a celebration! And how is it that he who shall be so obtuse find it way to be loved hey? Maybe he is true to what he belives in and heaven shall burn before the fight ends for him, the allure of such thing can be enticing.
A wonderfully worded piece on a topic that is something most people can relate to! The frustration and disbelief that we feel when we see someone like "him" really came through (in fact, someone popped into mind). When others compliment said man ("Through the chatter she hears high praise..."), it just goes to show how good he is at concealing his true nature.
Each word you wrote carried such a strong emotion! What emotion it was I am not sure, for hate almost seems to vulgar of a word to describe such beautiful writing.
Good choice for the song and video :)

Thank you so much. It isn't hate, actually, more a sadness and betrayal. Glad you picked up on that,.. read moreThank you so much. It isn't hate, actually, more a sadness and betrayal. Glad you picked up on that, and thank you for reviewing.
A odd bit to human nature this characteristic … I have met with a few men like this … I suppose it is linked to a need for control and a fear of abandonment … a bulb that shines a little less brighter is easier to hold onto.
KL you write, writes that matter:)
