she crafts a makeshift shelter
out of corrugated sympathies
bound together with
love's forgotten memories,
shivering under
newspaper blankets
damp with frozen tears.

Thank you. I have several I have done this way. As I have mentioned to others, it's how poems start out for me, several in a string. Only recently have I begun to leave them together sometimes instead of pulling them apart.

A vivd descrition of internalising. This is what we donlt get to see, finer matter of emotions amalgamated trying so hard to adapt to the challeneges thrown.The last attempt however sems like a stretch to far and maybe indications that it is time to pack and go since the stormy weather is looming in the distance.
