it isn't my tragedy

it isn't my tragedy

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

on this day in history

"
it isn't my tragedy
it isn't my war
but you brought it
to my door step.

my parliament
my home
my Capital.

don't give me
your damned
reasons.

I don't care if
you don't like
the cut of
my Prime Minister's jib.

you shouldn't
have fucked
with my country.

it isn't my tragedy
and yet you
forced it upon me.

In 1985 I walked
freely in parliament
I shook the hand
of the leader of our country.

no high school student today will ever get that opportunity.
October 22, 2014, it became my tragedy.

its horrific! and senseless to all but the authors of terrorizing those that disagree .. Canada (in my opinion) has responded wisely and without delay (unlike our president and his minions) and what a brave man the Sgt. at Arms is .. thank the Lord he had a gun! i am convinced these attacks will increase sadly .. in free societies that guard personal rights and freedoms .. there is a limit as to what authorities can do to protect .. i can feel your emotion .. the anger and sorrow and frustration ... i do not think they will win .. not in the long run .. i take hope in that .. free people are fierce when awakened ..love to you KL

A sadly tragic event in Canada's history, the death of the young soldier just standing his post is a disgrace to the human race and the events inside the parliament a terrible thing to see, indeed don't bring your phony war to anyone's shores radicalized psychopaths do the decent thing and shot yourselves!

This here in the UK highly current and intense at the moment. I think I have shared how some boys that lived on my street disapeared and Mom and Dad were honestly shocked to realize that they had gone over to fight a war. Now the issue is that if and when they come back they bring the War back in with them. Well we did not have to wait long for that If to find out really as it happened in Canada. Other than to point out the complete irrationality behind events all I feel I can do is pay may respect to those who suffer the consequences of this event.

Thankyou

Thanks for reading. I appreciate it.
On this side of the boarder this kind of crap happens all the time. In fact there was another school shooting today. But It's weird when it happens in Canada. It's like, What the hell did Canada do? America's always bombing somebody somewhere or letting schizophrenics buy assault rifles or some stupid s**t. As a culture we're pretty much asking for daily shootouts but Canada? C'mon. Canada's cool. This is crazy.

Yes. That's part of it. But it's the whole deal, stealing our peace of mind bit by bit
For so many, it is never going to happen here. Sadly, it can.
